CENELEC is a nonprofit international organization under Belgian law. CENELEC seeks to harmonize electrotechnical standards published by the national member organizations and to remove technical barriers to trade that may be caused by differences in standards. CENELEC members include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
