Foreign Trade Zone Act (FTZA)

U.S. law

The principal statute governing foreign trade zones is the Foreign Trade Zones Act of 1934 (FTZA), which has been codified in the United States Code as Title 19, Sections 81a through 81u. The FTZA has been periodically amended. The FTZA generally covers how and where zones are established, how they are administered and what may and may not be done in them.
