National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC)

(U.S. logistics) A freight classification schedule of tariffs applicable to less-than-truck-load (LTL) freight shipments. This tariff divides products into one of 18 classes and provides a standard for the pricing of domestic shipments throughout the United States.
