Examples are calcium permanganate, calcium hypochlorite, barium perchlorate, hydrogen peroxide and ammonium nitrate. Hazards/precautions are: may ignite combustibles (wood, paper, etc.); reaction with fuels may be violent; fires may produce poisonous fumes; vapors and dusts may be irritating; contact may burn skin and eyes; and peroxides may explode from heat or contamination.
