pallet box

(shipping) A box or crate attached to a shipping pallet used to store, handle or move materials and goods in factories, warehouses, trucks, containers or vessels. Pallet boxes are typically constructed of wood, but can be made of any material that has the necessary load bearing strength. The pallet box combines the advantages of a box (holding materials or goods), with that of a pallet (ease of transport by fork-lift truck or pallet jack). See skid, forklift truck.
