(logistics/air freight) (a) Any type of container or pallet used to load or transport cargo. (b) Any type of container or pallet used to load or transport cargo in the hold of an aircraft. ULDs vary in size and shape to fit specific vessels. See the appendix Guide to Air Freight Containers (ULDs).
