How to return your Loop return using a FlavorCloud label

TL;DR:

You can return your international order using a FlavorCloud return label provided through the Loop Returns portal. For now, returns must be dropped off at a FedEx Depot (not a pickup point or retail partner). The label will only be billed once it’s scanned, so if you don’t use it, you won’t be charged.

Step 1: Access your return label

After submitting your return request through the Loop Returns portal, you’ll receive a FlavorCloud international return label.

  • The label will include all necessary customs and shipping details.
  • Print the label and any accompanying commercial invoices included in the download.

Note: For the time being, FlavorCloud returns are only supported through FedEx. If your label was issued by a different carrier, follow the same general steps but confirm drop-off availability on that carrier’s site.

Step 2: Prepare your package

Before dropping off your return, make sure your package is ready for international shipment.

  1. Include all documents:
Your return package must include the printed commercial invoices and return label. These documents are required for customs clearance.
  2. Place them in a clear plastic pouch on the outside of your package.
  3. If you don’t have a document pouch:
    1. FedEx depots can provide a sticky pouch for your paperwork.
    2. Alternatively, secure your invoices in a plastic sleeve or zip bag, and tape it to the outside of your parcel where it’s visible.
  4. Attach your return label:
    1. Affix your FlavorCloud return label securely to the package.
    2. Make sure barcodes and text are visible and not folded or taped over.

Step 3: Drop off at a FedEx depot

Take your package to the nearest FedEx depot (not a pickup locker or retail affiliate).

Tip: Search by your postal code

Step 4: Your return label is billed on scan

Your FlavorCloud return label is bill-on-scan, meaning:

  • The merchant will only be charged once FedEx scans your package.
  • If you print your label but never ship the return, no charge will be applied to the merchant.

This ensures there is no need to cancel your return label if you change your mind.

Step 5: Track your return

Once scanned, your tracking number will activate, and you’ll be able to monitor your shipment through FedEx tracking.

  • You can also check your return status through the Loop portal or your merchant’s support team.
