What matters:

All information comes from trusted government sources.

  • Anything with a Country of Origin (Made in China) will have an incremental 10% tariff levied against it
  • Section 321 for Low Value Shipments, under USD $800, no longer applies to Manufactured in China goods. In other words, De minimis entry no longer applied to China Country of Origin goods.
  • US consumers will likely see duties and fees in the checkout for the first time.
  • There are backlogs at the border that will take time to sort out.
  • Imports into the US need 10 digit HS codes and customs documentation – This is time. This is costs.
